Even during the most challenging days, Grahame, your smile and a simple "hello" never failed to lift my spirits and bring a smile to my face.
I've spent countless car journeys over the years with Grahame, accompanying him to visit his "naughty" clients who hadn't paid up. He never avoided difficult conversations and always had my back.
During those trips, we'd discuss a variety of topics, attempting to solve the world's problems... or at least wishing we could.
One particularly amusing memory of GC was during the very recent incentive trip to Barcelona. On the first night, during dinner, Matt joined the table where Grahame and I were seated with a number of colleagues. Grahame insisted on playing Chinese Whispers, and naturally, he chose the most inappropriate comment about Matt. By the time it made its way around the table, it had completely transformed as nobody dared to repeat it! That encapsulates GC for me—cheeky, full of fun, and laughter.
He was an immensely proud husband and father, always talking about Roma, Harry & Evie... My heartfelt condolences go out to you all.
I'll miss you dearly, GC, but thank you for simply being yourself. xx
